I’m proud to say I was a part of this project (Sage, here). Rocky and I shot this and several other interviews. Our kid also goes to Spring Garden Waldorf.
This segment really spoke to me. I suspect it’s not easy for a public school teacher to buck the system and send her kid to a private school.
She also is very positive about public school. She loves teaching. But in this case she felt Spring Garden was the right choice for her situation.
That’s how I have always felt about it.
I don’t believe anything is going to be right for everyone. But for the right person Waldorf can be amazing. That’s the case in our family.
I’ve been a part of SGWS for about 4 years now. The “honeymoon period” has definitely warn off. But I’m still a huge believer in the program. In fact, I believe in it more now than when we started. I was actually a pretty big skeptic.
